This summer we are hitting the road on our latest adventure, ‘Walk in Your Shoes’. We are inviting you to join as we journey from Hexham to Spittal, walking over 126 miles of St Oswald’s Way across beautiful Northumberland. November Club’s Artistic Director, Joe Hufton, is new to the region and will use this as an opportunity to meet people across the county, take in the sights and visit rural communities.

We will stop at eight communities along the walk and deliver a unique piece of ‘Doorstep Theatre’, performed in gardens and on doorsteps of residents. Audiences can book in groups of 6 or as two households/bubbles. This fresh, contemporary, one-person production will challenge the mythology of Northumberland, creating a new narrative for the here and now. There’s word that a miracle has happened up at Heavenfield. Is Saint Oswald (AKA the original King of the North) back? Make sure you don't miss out on the hottest tickets, and t-shirts in town!

Although Doorstep Theatre will be available to limited audiences on the walk, we welcome walkers of all abilities to join us at various stages along St Oswald’s Way. Share stories of Northumberland past and present, meet November Club and find out more about our plans for the future.

A range of walks are available from Hexham to Spittal via the St Oswalds Way, ranging from 3 to 12 miles and ending with light refreshments. You can join in as many as you like.
