Board of Trustees Application Process 

As a Trustee you will help to guide and shape us, recognising where we are now and helping us be ambitious for the future. ​

​As we emerge from the pandemic and rebuild, we have identified the following priorities:​

  • ​Ensuring a return to live production and full operations in a sustainable way​
  • Ensuring that as many communities as possible have a stake in our work, and that our company, board, and the art we create reflects the communities we work with​
  • Ensuring our work remains of exceptional quality and relevance​

You do not require previous experience of sitting on a board to join us as a Trustee at November Club.

In Autumn 2020, November Club appointed theatre director Joe Hufton to lead the organisation as Artistic Director and CEO into the next phase of its life.​ Watch the short film below to find out more:

Critical dates​

Deadline for applications: 12 noon Tuesday 6th April 2021​

Interviews: Monday 19th April 2021​

Potential candidates will be invited to a meeting with representatives of the Board of Trustees and Company (location to be confirmed).​

The role of Trustee is an unpaid post. Reasonable expenses will be covered.

2021 Board Meeting Dates 

18th May, 17th August and 16th November. We anticipate Board Meetings continuing remotely due to Covid19. In normal times, meetings are held in Morpeth or Newcastle.

November Club is a revenue client of Arts Council England (National Portfolio Organisation 2018 – 2022) and in receipt of a yearly grant from Northumberland County Council.
