Imogen is an award-winning designer and visual artist based in Newcastle. Imogen has worked nationally and internationally in site-specific installation, theatre and film. Her work is based on intensive research, immersing herself in the many stories a site will contain to create detailed, multi-layered pieces that surprise and intrigue.

In the last decade, Imogen has created a body of work that responds directly to heritage buildings and sites. She has undertaken artist’s commissions for Belsay Hall creating ‘The Recollection Rooms’ with poet Jacob Polley, ‘Bathtime’ at Segedunum, ‘Illumine’ part of LUX at Cragside, and at Lindisfarne Castle, Gibside, The Mining Institute, Tyneside Cinema, Enchanted Parks, and most recently a permanent installation ‘Courage’ for Battersea Arts Centre in London. She is currently leading the creative interpretation for a large-scale project at Seaton Delaval Hall.

As an associate artist of November Club Imogen has collaborated on many, many interesting projects. These include a series of works for Wallington Hall, The Literary and Philosophical Society in Newcastle, Seaton Delaval Hall, and a large scale project at Blickling Hall in Norfolk to name but a few. Imogen also designed the award-winning musical Beyond the End of the Road.
