Get Involved Arts Award November Club is proud to be both a registered Arts Award Centre and Arts Award Supporter, offering children and young people from the ages of 5 – 25yrs a range of opportunities to develop their skills as artists and arts leaders. Arts Award is a range of unique qualifications that deepen engagement with arts and culture, develop creative and leadership skills, and importantly, the Arts Award leads to a national qualification. Through the five different levels of Arts Award, children and young people can explore any art form. The award builds confidence helps young people engage and enjoy cultural activities and prepares them for further education and employment. Arts Award is available at five levels: Discover Explore Bronze Silver Gold Progressing the five levels, young people get to: Discover the enjoyment of creating and participating in arts activities Experience arts events Develop creative and communication skills that are essential for success in 21st century life Explore the work of artists and craftspeople and gain insights into the professional arts world Gain experience and knowledge to help progress into further education and employment Discover Arts Award Offer How the Forest Came to Be is our digital storytelling project for Lower KS2 pupils, exploring change, coping and resilience through a series of animated films and a range of creative activities. We have created a bespoke Arts Award Discover package to accompany the project, supporting children to reflect on their creative experiences, capture their learning journey and complete additional activities in order to achieve this introductory award. The package has been developed by our Participation Producer, Louise Taylor-Asheg, who is a trained Arts Award Advisor, and includes 1:1 support and guidance for participating schools. Arts Award Supporter Offer As an Arts Award Supporter, we offer a range of opportunities to contribute to elements of young people’s chosen award. These include: Tickets for students to attend and review November Club productions and share their views via our social media channels. Placements and volunteering opportunities. Talks and Q&A sessions with professionals from November Club, associated artists and production personnel. Tours of sites where the company is in production i.e. site specific installations and transformed environments. Bespoke workshops linked to productions. These are programmed and promoted alongside each of our productions, and we’ll update our website when new opportunities are available.
