Andrea joined November Club in January 2019 as Business and Operations Director, having worked in the charitable sector since 2009, most recently as Co-CEO in Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland (RCTN).

Andrea’s love of performance started when as a child she acted as a piece of seaweed dancing to Mendelssohn’s Fingal’s Cave. She pursued her studies in drama and theatre culminating in a BA Hons in Theatre Studies from Warwick University. On leaving university, she moved out of the theatrical world to pursue a career in IT with Sainsbury, before moving to the North East and Northern Rock. She transferred into a training role at Northern Rock, before leaving to qualify as a certified Life Coach with the International Coach Federation and set up her own business as a life coach and trainer. She subsequently qualified as a BACP Counsellor.

In 2009 she started working in the charitable sector at Northumberland County Development Network, helping to deliver training and support programmes and developed an understanding of the third-sector in Northumberland. In 2012, her knowledge of Northumberland, experience of running her own business and her counselling certification opened up an opportunity to take on the Northumberland Development Worker role for Grace, Northumberland Rape Crisis a service of RCTN. After nine months, the Board asked her to become Co-CEO a role she shared with the then existing manager. At RCTN, Andrea was responsible for the development of the organisation, including its fundraising and finance.
