Could you play the role of Molly?

Join November Club’s award winning musical Beyond the End of the Road when it tours to Hexham and Northern Marts. 

Performing Arts Company, November Club are holding auditions for young people interested in playing the role of ‘Molly’ in their award-winning musical Beyond the End of the Road. The musical celebrates rural life and will be coming to Hexham and Northern Marts on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 July 2018.

Sarah Hudson, Participation Producer at November Club said: “We are looking for one female actor aged 10-14 to play the role of a 12 year old girl, Molly. The role involves a small appearance at the end of the show, with a few spoken lines and a short song. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a major production and work with professional actors and musicians, so if this sounds of interest then get in touch!”

If you are confident about singing on stage and this sounds of interest to you then you must be able to attend: 

One short rehearsal with the Musical Director and Director on Wed 11th July at 6pm- 7.30pm at Live Theatre, Broad Chare, Newcastle NE1 3DQ.

• Be available from 4pm on Saturday 28th July at Hexham Auction Mart

• Be available to perform in both shows on Saturday 28th July 7.30pm and Sunday 29 July at 6.30pm

For the audition, you will need to prepare one verse of an unaccompanied song of your choice to perform (no backing track/music) and you will be asked to read lines from the show.  You will need a chaperone for the audition, who may have to stay with you, and a chaperone for the two performances.  The chaperone will receive a complimentary ticket for each show.

The audition will take place on Monday 2 July at 6.00pm at Hexham Community Centre. No drop-in auditions will be accepted on the night, you must pre-register to receive advanced copy of the script. 

Beyond the End of the Road is a midsummer tale about the residents of a village called PLACE: their loves, their losses and their deepest secrets. With new music by Katie Doherty, written by Laura Lindow, Directed by Cinzia Hardy and Designed by Imogen Cloët.
