November Club turns 10!

For the last 10 years November Club has made playful and inspiring theatre and installations, telling unexpected stories of all sorts of people and places. Sharing memories, hopes and dreams is part of what we do. Weaving together historical and contemporary themes, our work is always made in collaboration with local people whose tales become central to our projects.

Successful reinvestment from Arts Council England for November Club

We were delighted to receive the news that our funding from Arts Council England has been renewed at the same level for the next four years (2018-2022). We found out the same night we played Beyond the End of the Road at Sage Gateshead so it was a very special night for us all!

Over the next four years we will continue to work in non-traditional arts settings bringing together communities of all backgrounds and ages. We will create exciting productions and shows as well as continue our work with heritage organisations, bringing their collections to life through our unique approach to storytelling.

Building on the success of the Great Performing Rope in Berwick in 2015, we will bring another large scale project to the town which will focus on children and young people from the area. We will also be looking at developing a new fairytale for Northumberland over the next two years as well as try and get Beyond the End of the Road back out on tour! We're currently looking at various funding streams but as always if you like the work we do and would like to pledge your support, for £25 you can join our Secret Garden Keyholder Scheme.
